The first CBD Expo in France
On October 16, 17 and 18, 2021, the first CBD Expo in France reserved for professionals from the CBD world as well as influencers was held in Paris. We will see throughout this article how this first edition of the CBD Expo went so that you can prepare for the next ones.
Exhibitors at CBD Expo France
On a surface area of 6000m2 located in Parc de la Villette, more than 80 exhibitors met! Several large international producers, CBD Shop Online, physical CBD shops or wholesalers, including analysis laboratories or magazines specializing in cannabidiol were present at this first edition of the show. A multitude of different products and services made it possible to give a first global vision of the potential of the French CBD market which is still in the early stages of its future evolution.
French exhibitors were obviously present, but practically all European nationalities were represented, including a brand that came straight from the United States. All these brands and companies were present in order to acquire new customers, make themselves known or present their new products. In addition to the companies, the show included among its participants the two French hemp unions as well as a legal center and a center dedicated to banks.
Visitors to the CBD Expo France
As soon as it opened on Saturday, October 16, the show was filled with visitors from all over France and Europe: We can say that the CBD Expo was a great success! Among the visitors, we were able to meet CBD consumers, young CBD companies and brands, CBD merchant and information sites, physical CBD stores and all branches of the CBD industry who came to discover new products and also take advantage of the so-called "show" offers that exhibitors offer during this type of representation. Let's not forget the influencers who were invited (provided they had more than 5,000 subscribers on their various social networks) but who were much more discreet.
The CBD Expo France conference program
During the 3 days of the CBD Expo 2021 in Paris, conferences on different themes were given. Thus, the important topics of the CBD sector in France and around the world were able to be addressed. The CBD Expo gave the floor to many experts on subjects such as the state of the CBD market in France and around the world, insurance in the CBD sector, legislation, banks and financing, etc. You will find below all the themes discussed during these different conferences which were held on Saturday 16, Sunday 17 and Monday 18 October 2021:
- CBD and agriculture: for access to adapted agricultural techniques promoting the genetic diversity of cultivated varieties.
- CBD, from the medical approach to the well-being approach with a special guest Doctor Pascal DOUEK, author of the book: Medical cannabis, a new chance.
- A Made in France label: towards a French sector of excellence.
- Manufacturing and processing conditions: strict specifications but accessible to all.
- Insurance and access to banking services: what are the obstacles encountered by the different players and the different CBD sectors in France.
- CBD and regulations: Novel Food, food supplements, hemp flowers, what are the issues today?
- CBD: finance and fundraising.
- State of the CBD market in France and internationally in 2021. What future for the CBD sector?
- CBD and its political issues.
A little word on ecology during the CBD Expo France
The show wanted to be as green as possible and that is why the carpet was recyclable, the partitions between exhibitors were reusable and the brushed cotton that covered these same partitions was environmentally friendly. The CBD Expo's commitment even extended to the team's clothing which was made of organic cotton. Bravo to the CBD Expo Team for this.
Future CBD fairs
Other fairs are being organized in Paris, Marseille and Lyon. They will take place next May and the Cali Weed team will once again be present to give you feedback.
